NASCAR Xfinity Series racing is the second of NASCAR's stock car series. Xfinity Series cars are more like the previous-generation NASCAR Cup cars featuring carbureted V8s and 5-lug wheels. These cars are usually lighter but slightly less powerful. Sometimes the Xfinity cars are faster than the next-generation Cup cars around certain tracks.

Xfinity Racing features NASCAR's next generation of talent. However, Cup series drivers have been known to make an appearance in these races. Ticket prices are usually lower for Xfinity races, but often you can see Cup and Xfinity in the same weekend.
